TNA big roster cut

TNA has openly expressed its financial situation over the past 2 years. With big signings of Hogan, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Ric Flair, Foley, Eric Bischoff, list of extreme veterans and hot divas flooding the roster, a cost cutting measure is simply inevitable.

Recently, TNA has released Homicide, Tomko, Rosie Lottalove, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, Christopher Daniels and ODB. It is said that this is only the “first wave” of dismissal. More names are expected to be released in months to come.

Backstage sentiments is said to be mixed. On one end, some wrestlers are in line with Dixie’s splurge on big names, deeming it “as a necessary step” for TNA to gain exposure. Others have been upset that those loyal names who have stick with the company in its early days are ousted from the equation. Oh well, that’s business if you ask me. WD will continue to update on the issue.
