Titles unification plans

With the recent unification of the tag titles, it has officially set pace for management’s plan to consolidate and unify all its “divided” championships within the next year. Over the years, both Smackdown and RAW have been criticized for having two heavyweight champions in one company. This is the same for tag titles, women and I.C/U.S titles.

Management thus strategically plan to unify all of its championship within the next year. There would be one heavyweight Championship, one Tag Team Championship, one Intercontinental Championship, and one Women’s title. The WWE/World Title Unification Match is rumored to take place at next year’s WrestleMania, pitting John Cena against The Undertaker.

The title unification have set many questions rolling. Would there still be brand separation? How would the company direct its roster. Many questions have been raised. WD will continue to fill you in on the news. Be sure to check back.
